Welcomenest is a small Australian studio designing personalised pieces for every stage of childhood. No mass-stocked warehouses. No trend-cycle pressure. Just well-made things, made when you order them, for the real years of motherhood.
The problem with sorting by age in years
Walk into most kids brands online and you’ll be asked to filter by age: 0–1, 2–3, 4–5. As if childhood arrived in calendar increments.
It doesn’t. Childhood arrives in stages. The slow newborn months. The running toddler years. The kinder year of first friendships. The big-school years of library books and longer days. Each one with its own pace, its own rituals, its own bag at the door.

Every Welcomenest piece is drawn, prototyped, and signed off in our Melbourne studio. We don’t mass-produce anything — when you order, we make. That’s why personalisation takes 5 to 7 business days, not 24 hours: because your child’s name is being stitched on a bag that was cut and assembled for them, not pulled off a warehouse shelf.
It’s slower. It’s also why the bag will outlast three changes of school shoes.

The four stages
We curate everything we make into four stages of motherhood — not arbitrary age brackets, but the emotional reality of where you are.
Newborn · 0–12 months
