Delivery & shipping
Every Welcomenest piece is made to order in our Melbourne studio, then shipped to you. This page sets the timeline honestly — so the wait feels considered rather than unexpected.
Production time
Five to seven business days from order to dispatch. This is the hand-embroidery window — the stitching itself, the quality check, and the careful wrap. It is not padding. Rush production isn't offered, because the finish that holds is the finish that takes the time it takes.
Australian shipping
- Standard — $9.95. Three to seven business days after dispatch, depending on metro or regional address.
- Express — $14.95. One to three business days after dispatch.
- Free standard shipping on every order over $75.
Total time from order to your door — typically eight to fourteen business days standard, six to ten business days express.
International shipping
We ship to New Zealand at a flat $24.95, ten to fifteen business days after dispatch. Other international destinations are available on request — please reach out before ordering so we can quote accurately and confirm the timeline.
Tracking
A tracking link is emailed the moment your order leaves the studio. If a parcel hasn't moved for more than three business days after dispatch, write to us and we'll chase it with the carrier on your behalf.
Gift orders
If the piece is a gift, leave a note at checkout and we'll send it without the receipt and with a small handwritten card. The studio doesn't charge extra for this.
A note on the made-to-order model
Nothing in our studio sits pre-stitched on a shelf. The piece you order is begun for you. That's the trade — a slightly longer wait for a piece made with one child's name in mind, in materials chosen to hold up to years of carrying.
